REFUND POLICY

60-day returns

If a Kiru knife isn't right for you, you can return it within 60 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.

Damaged, defective, or wrong item

Email kiruknifeco@gmail.comwithin 60 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll refund you in full or send a replacement, whichever you prefer. You do not need to ship the item back to us in these cases.

Change of mind

If you simply don't want the knife, email kiruknifeco@gmail.com 60 days of delivery for a return authorization. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Once the return is received and confirmed, we refund the full purchase price of the item. Original shipping charges are not refunded.

What isn't covered

  • Normal dulling from use. Knives are sharpened tools and lose their edge over time. This is expected and is not a defect.
  • Damage from dishwasher use, which we specifically advise against on every product page.
  • Damage from misuse, such as prying, twisting, cutting frozen food or bone with a non-cleaver blade, or dropping.
  • Returns requested more than 60 days after delivery.

How to start a return

Email kiruknifeco@gmail.com your order number and, if the item arrived damaged, a photo. We respond within 2 business days with instructions. Please do not send items back before contacting us — unauthorized returns may not be refundable.

Refund timing

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Once we process a refund, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship. Once an order has shipped it can't be cancelled, but the 60-day return policy above still applies.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to return the original item under this policy and place a new order for the item you want.

This policy is offered in addition to your rights under applicable consumer protection law and does not limit them.
